Roasting

As a light roast, Lazy Sunday is gentle on the palate, and then softens into a warm embrace for your senses. The cocoa flavors from Latin America smooth the brew while Africa adds citrus notes to add the balance. The result is a coffee that is a great drink on its own, with milk chocolate or cake. It also goes well with lemon drizzle cakes or simple vanilla sponges very well.

We recommend the French Press method to brew this coffee. Heating your vessel by adding some water that has just boiled will keep it warm. After brewing, let it sit for four minutes, this will ensure that the grounds are saturated and not over extracted. The water should be pushed through by the plunger. Don't stir or agitate your coffee as it can cause unpleasant ingredients to appear in the cup.

Strength - 3 is soft and easygoing, perfect for weekend getaways.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is an aromatic light roast that has a sweet cocoa and citrus aroma. It has a silky, caressing mouthfeel. The hints of cocoa can be traced back to a winters afternoon spent on the couch with an enjoyable book and a warm hug from the family. To brew the coffee first heat up your French Press with off boil water. This will stop the coffee from becoming over extracted and resulting in undesirable elements in your drink. Add your grounds and 250ml water that has just been boiled. Steep for 4 minutes, plunge and enjoy.
